Tutorial Step 6: Assign Products to Stages or Work Packages
Note: This topic is part of the tutorial sequence to learn ChangeAide 3.3. The first step in the tutorial is Create a Product Breakdown Structure (PBS).

Assigning a product to a stage, or work package creates a dynamic link between the activity and the product.
When you select an activity that is assigned to a product, the corresponding product is also selected. This gives you quick access to product information.
The assignment also lets you quickly identify products that have not been included in the plan. Use View >> Show Products Not Used

View the PFD | Select the PFD tab. We will use the PFD to provide the structure for assigning products to stages or work packages. |

Note: You can also carry out this task by right clicking a product in the PBS or PFD, moving the mouse to Link Activities to Products and choosing Insert Product(s) in Activities List.

Create activities to match the Moved Shed example |
The activity names added above are default names. Now you can edit these names to match the names in the PFD on Page 173 of 'Managing Successful Projects with PRINCE2'. You will also add any new activities that are required.
